New Commanding Officer of the Police 18th District

Happy Holidays from the 18th District! We would like to introduce to you all our new Commanding Officer, Captain Daniel Ginion! Here are a few words.

I would like to take this festive opportunity to introduce myself. I am the new Commanding Officer of the 18th Police District, Captain Ginion.

A little bit about me… I am a 15 year veteran of PPD. I graduated from Roman Catholic High School and La Salle University here in Philadelphia. I have spent the majority of my career in the North Philadelphia/Kensington area of the city in different roles. I was recently promoted to the rank of Captain.

In closing, I look forward to meeting you all in the very near future and working together to make our community a safer place for all residents and visitors. In the meantime, have a great holiday and happy new year.
