Community Design Collaborative Update

Presenters Maggie Peake, Danielle Toronyi, and Emily Khalid made their initial concepts presentation on March 16 to a gathering of gardeners, community members, and agency representatives.

The presentation of renovations to the Garden Court Community Gardens at 47th & Spruce Streets included nearly doubling the number of community garden plots, creating an attractive gateway and entry area, redesigning a central communal area with pergola, building a modern new bus shelter, and installing a subsurface storm water collection system under the tennis courts.
