Preservation Alliance Tour of West Philly

The Preservation Alliance of Greater Philadelphia is conducting a tour of West Philadelphia. It will be starting at The Woodlands, (4000 Woodland Ave), where the walking tour will start, ending at The Calvary Church, (48th and Baltimore). Various parts of the West Philly community will be discussed including the beautiful, historic Garden Court Condominiums. The discussion will start explaining how this area was the first trolley suburb, allowing commuting to work in the city using the efficient and abundant trolley system.
