about GCCA
Who are we?
The Garden Court Community Association (GCCA) is a voluntary membership organization of people working together for over 50 years to make our community the best possible place to live.

Since the mid-1950s, GCCA has coordinated efforts to solve neighborhood problems and has carried out projects to improve the community.

The organization’s objectives are to foster good interpersonal relationships and cooperation among all persons living, working, or interested in our community.

GCCA’s boundaries are 45th Street, 52nd Street, Cedar Avenue, and Locust Street.

Our neighborhood is made up of individuals and families with a rich diversity of ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds. We reside in apartments and single-family houses and represent a variety of income levels and occupations. The membership of GCCA fully reflects this diversity and is committed to preserving it.

The City recognizes GCCA as the group officially representing our community.
