Grants Available for Block Improvements!
Garden Court Community Association has grants available to fund improvements on blocks in our neighborhood.
Grant money from your community association is available to match, dollar for dollar, the efforts of your block to improve its streetscape and plantings.  Sweat equity and in-kind contributions can count for matching grant dollars.
Typical improvements can include:
  1. •Planting new street trees.
  2. •Pruning existing trees.
  3. •Development of tree lawns between sidewalks and the curb to aid in stormwater absorption.
  4. •Streetscape elements and plantings.
  5. •Sidewalk repairs in conjunction with the elements above.
The area covered is between 45th and 52nd Streets, from Locust St. to Cedar Ave.

Call for Nominations for New Board Members
  1. •GCCA is seeking several new members to join the Board; self nominations are acceptable.
  2. •Requirements are that the individual live, work, or have an interest in the Garden Court community and is a member of the Garden Court Community Association. Terms are for three years. Meetings are the first Monday evening of the month.
